QC Analyst

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Quality Control Supervisor at Genvion Corporation, this position is responsible for routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform analytical testing of raw / packaging materials.
  • Ensure appropriate methodology is utilized without unauthorized modifications.
  • Operate and maintains analytical equipment including HPLC, FT-IR, GC, UV, etc. as required.
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and sample solutions as required.
  • Analyzing inorganic and organic compounds to determine physical and chemical properties, composition, relationships, and reactions, utilizing spectroscopy, spectrophotometer, and chromatography techniques.
  • Write and review Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation for Quality Control Laboratory.
  • Perform laboratory maintenance, qualification and calibration of equipment and machines as per written procedures.
  • Maintain chemicals and samples inventory.
  • Wash glasswares and equipment in the lab.

Manufacturing Associate

DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform granulation as per approved procedures.
  • Perform dispensing, sieving and blending as per approved procedures.
  • Perform Tabletting/encapsulation as per approved procedures.
  • Perform tablet coating as per approved procedures.
  • Clean all rooms and manufacturing equipment’s as per approved procedures.
  • Dismantle and reassemble all manufacturing equipment’s.
  • Complete all paper work required to be completed for a process.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted as per cGMP.
  • Comply with all safety and health policies of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager or management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e GED, Mature Diploma)
  • Meet all the requirements of the designated job Description.

Quality Assurance Associate

DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Through shop floor presence, serve as a deputy for the overall responsibility of the quality system and its
    implementation.
  • Create, modify, review and control SOPs and forms and assist in bi-annual review of SOPs.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits.
  • Perform in-process control and testing for QC testing.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training programs of manufacturing operators and ensure that the
    training files of the staffs are current and maintained.
  • Issue and Review of batch records.
  • Create and issue raw and packaging material reports to quality control lab accompanied by samples.
  • Create and issue specifications and reports of bulk products and finished products to quality control lab.
  • Collect required information for the annual product review, summarize data and publish results.
  • Issuance, review and follow up on change control program.
  • Conduct and write investigation reports for deviation, NCR’s and incidents, and if required to initiate CAPA.
  • Perform and approve line clearances.
  • Write reports of product development and make the suggested changes in future documents through
    appropriate channel.
  • Perform calibration of instruments used in manufacturing area.
  • Monitoring pest control activity.
  • Other duties as assigned by Q & C Coordinator or management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Holds a Canadian Diploma / Degree or Diploma / Degree recognized as equivalent by a Canadian College or
    Canadian Accreditation body.

Maintenance Associate

DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used.
  • Install, inspect, repair and maintain the plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in the building
  • Coordinate or operate and maintain the heating, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system) in the
    building
  • Perform general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of various equipment as required
  • Coordinate renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities
  • Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 10 or equivalent (i.e GED, Mature Diploma)
  • Meet all the requirements of the designated job description.

Janitorial Staff

DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform general housekeeping duties:
    • Vacuuming and sweeping.
    • Floor scrubbing using automatic scrubber or wet mop.
    • Emptying waste bins.
  • Pest control monitoring and documentation.
  • Maintenance, management of manufacturing and housekeeping supplies:
    • Cleaning supplies.
    • Sanitary supplies i.e. soap dispenser, tissue papers and service towels.
    • Disposable coats.
    • Hair nets.
    • Face mask.
  • Maintenance and management of Janitorial Functions Record/ Checklist.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted as per cGMP.
  • Comply with all safety and health policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
